Bought the same thing twice at different prices and it shows up twice? Long-press the product and choose Combine With Another.
Both purchases are kept, each with its own date, supplier, batch and cost, so your margins and history stay exactly right — only the two inventory rows become one, with the combined count and a weighted average cost.
The app only calls it a match when the compound, strength, unit and supplier are identical. Anything close but not identical is still offered, with the differences spelled out, because combining merges cost history and there's no clean way to separate it afterwards.
